GB 1890 SG172 Cover - Naval Officers Letter from Pernambuco Superb early use of this1900 Naval Officers' Mail. Very fine cover from Lt. Tristan Dannreuther, R. N. serving aboard HMS 'Leander' a ten gun 2nd Class Cruiser at Pernambuco, Brazil. Addressed to Hastings, Sussex and prepaid by a 1d lilac tied by a London MB cds (Robertson type MB4) for DE. 9. 1900.
